At Hurley McKenna & Mertz, we are taking concrete steps to ensure that our work continues on behalf of our clients, while protecting the health of our staff, friends, and families. Based on state and federal guidelines, our lawyers and assistants shifted to remote work as of March 11, 2020. Because of our investment in the most advanced legal and digital technology over the last year, HM&M’s attorneys and staff will continue to work at normal pace and volume, although we may not all be in the office together. It’s important to note that various courts may experience temporary closures as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19).
We are optimistic that all of our efforts now will contain the virus and allow our team to return to the office together soon. In the meantime, we will continue to receive and respond to all of your calls, texts, and emails to us. For appointments where an in-person meeting would normally be preferred or required, we will contact you to arrange a video chat or conference call. We will work with opposing counsel in your cases to set up video depositions in order to eliminate the need for you to travel until the current health situation improves.
The bottom line is that HM&M’s work on your case will continue full speed ahead. We are happy to answer any questions you have. We wish you all continued health and safety.
