At Hurley McKenna & Mertz, P.C. we want to win every case we accept and that means we prepare every case as if it is going to trial. Statistically most cases settle, but our trial preparation approach ensures that we obtain the highest settlements for our clients. Defendants and their insurance companies pay the best settlements to lawyers that have demonstrated a willingness to do the hard work necessary to prepare a case for trial and try it.

At HM&M we believe we have a duty to our profession and to our community to make sure that people understand their legal rights. This is why we offer a free consultation to those who feel they have been wronged.
Even if you are not sure if you have a case, or if you think your case is too small, text us or give us a call. We will take the time to hear about your situation and give you our honest evaluation based on our experience and knowledge of the law.
We know many of our clients are so seriously injured that travel is difficult. If that is the case with you, please don’t worry about trying to come down to our office. We will come to you—at your home or in the hospital—to meet with you and to begin work on your case.
Talking with us does not mean that you are obligated to work with us. We will not move forward unless we accept your case and you decide to proceed.
Our Fees
We are serious about helping our clients in every way that we can. We know that most people whose lives have been disrupted by the negligence of others do not have the resources to fight back against those who have wronged them. That is why we do not charge by the hour. We do not charge you for talking to you, for preparing your case, or for time in the courtroom. Instead, we work on your case on a contingency fee basis. This shifts the risk to us and gives you complete access to justice. You pay nothing unless we win a financial recovery for you.
